As in libo-libo-libo.

Font 36, Bold, Arial, color Red. Parang ganito:
GUDLAK

Gosh. Dadami ang tambay. Lalaki ang bilang ng krimen. Siyempre ang karaniwang dahilan? Kahirapan!

We should be practical! Saka na ang family ties! Joke. Hehehe :p

Bongga! So bye-bye personal files na. Whew! Parang Expulsion Day palagi! Joke. Hihi.

So sa mga nagbabalak mag-resign sa kani-kanilang work ngayon, better think a million times. :D

Book-a-holic?

When I was a child, my dream house will be a big house with a library inside it. And now it's becoming more of like a fiction. What happened?! hahaha! :p But when I was a student, I don't want to read any book. I read books because it was required - textbooks and reference books, who will not read that? or else I will not pass my subjects! anyway, I discovered something new about myself over these past few months. I enjoy reading novels! That's really new! hihi! When I was a high school student I can't stand reading a book without COLORFUL pictures (seriously!) but here I am right now, found happiness in reading full-text novels during my spare time after work!

And as they say, you really can't judge the book by its cover!

There are books that has really nice packaging - the cover, the paper used, everything! But when you read the story, ahh! such a waste of time! hihi!

Then there are books that come in simple packaging - like Mitch Albom's novels. The cover is simple, yet the content is really heart-touching and truly inspiring!

When I bought a book, I will surely put some note into it or I will highlight the lines that I found appealing. For me it means I'm a leaving a mark to the book.

Just like in relating with people. You can't judge them by the way they look. And when you get to know them, you somehow need to leave a mark on their life, their story, that will make them remember you. Or an evidence that you once crossed their life story -- enough for dramatic statements! haha!

Here are some of the novels that I've just read:
Kitchen God's Wife by Amy Tan - required to read this because for a book review in High School (or college? I can't remember!) . I did not enjoy reading this one. Hehe.

Mitch Albom's Novels (Five people you meet in heaven, Tuesdays with Morrie, and For One More Day) - super touching! Definitely must-read novels! Highly recommended! Hihi!

Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyers (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) - yeah, i also got hooked with the "Twilight Mania". I like the first and the last book. What I hate most is New Moon! Really hate it!

A Child Called 'It' - I forgot who's the author and I also forgot If I managed to finish reading this novel. It's so dramatic! Full of pains! So I guess I haven't finished in reading this one. I can't bare the emotions. :p

Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella - I can't believe that I wasted my time reading this one! While reading the novel, I got the feeling of irritation! I remember I got this feeling when I watched the movie 'Bratz'. Huh! Super irritating! I can't find any lessons at all! :p

Dekada 70 at Gapo - a great novel by Lualhati Bautista. I was really fascinated by these novels.

Bob Ong books - I got to read ABBNKKBSANPLAko and Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hugas. But I got bored reading his other books.. Yes it's funny, it has the content, but..I don't know. It feels like I'm just reading a blog post. Or maybe because many bloggers have already adopted his style of writing.

I also got to read Inspirational books (obviously):
Extravagant Worship - written by Darlene Zchech herself of Hillsong. This book truly helped me especially when I was in Music Ministry.

Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren - a book almost known by all. I hope the readers finally got their 'purpose'. Hehe. This one is a powerful book.

What Matters Most for the Heart - recommended by GG Beth. This one is helpful especially when you are a Household Head. It can give you some topics or ideas for your Household.

How to Find Your One True Love by Bo Sanchez - Is this inspirational? Hmm..anyway, this is also a very good book. An eye-opener not only for those searching for their 'true love' but also for..hmm..everyone. hehe

Right now I'm reading Paulo Coelho's "Brida". So far so good. And..I really like the book cover. Interesting. hihi. Next books will be: The Alchemist, Life the Flowing River, and Eleven Minutes. All written by Paulo Coelho.

Thanks to my friends Bading (Jayson V) and Bebi Hazel for inspiring me in reading different novels and providing some ebooks for me to read. Your recommendation really matters to me. Hehehe.

And hey! I've got softcopy (ebook) of some of the best-selling novels of:
Paulo Coelho - By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Eleven Minutes, Maktub, Manual of Warrior of Light, Stories of Parents Children and Grandchildren, The Alchemist, The Devil and Miss Prym, The Fifth Mountain, The Pilgrimage, The Valkyries, The Way of the Bow, The Witch of Portobello, The Zahir, and Veronica Decides to Die

Nicholas Sparks - A Bend in the Road, A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle, Nights in Rodanthe, The Notebook, The Wedding, True Believer

Mitch Albom - Five People You Meet in Heaven, For One More Day, Tuesdays with Morrie

Jane Austen - Emma, Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility

Danielle Steel - Heart Beat, Kaleidoscope, Leap of Faith, Lightning, Lone Eagle, Malice, Message from Nam, Mirror Image, Mixed Blessings, No Greater Love, Passion's Promise, Safe Harbour, Silent Honor, The Gift, The Ranch, Vanished, Wings

Dan Brown - Angels and Demons, Deception Point, Digital Fortress, The Da Vinci Code

Anne Rice - Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, Memnoch the Devil, The Vampire Armand, Merrick

J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter Book 1-7

Bob Ong - ABNKKBSNPLAko, Alamat ng Gubat, Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas, Bakit Baliktad Magbasa ng Libro ang mga Pilipino, Stainless Longganisa

Stephanie Meyers - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn

You can PM me and request for the copies :)

If you have some nice novel ebooks kindly share it with me please?.. T_T

Di nauubusan ng dahilan

God never fails to give me enough reasons to be happy...to be joyful! kahit mga simpleng bagay lang super kong naaappreciate.. :)

BPI Credit Card
Well, sinuwerte ako. hehe.

Certification
- lupeht, ng mapagdesisyunan kong ippursuit kong magkaroon ng certification this year, nalaman kong i'm just one floor away sa testing center ng target kong certification. eto pa malupeht, tumawag ang Sun Microsystem offering their certificate exam voucher. Ung tipong kapag bumagsak ka a first take ng exam, wala ng bayad ung pag-retake mo. nice deal.

Kapatid (Neil) and GG Beth brought back my senses

I'm Yours
Well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We're just one big family
And it's our godforsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved
wala lang..natutuwa lang talaga ko. hehe.

Ilocos Norte Trip

Hihi. Thanks talaga Papa Jesus!!! Smile more! Laugh harder! Ayun lang... have a happy weekend!!! :)

Enjoy maging busy???

Hanep talaga!

Emo me Emo u
Naaabsorb ko kasi ung pakiramdam nila kaya napapraning ako. waahh! life is too short to spend most of your time being lonely and too emotional! naks! Hehe.

Bee Cee
Isa pang bago sakin. Kelan pa ko nag-enjoy maging busy??? Hahaha! This year lang. as in nung magsimula ung year na toh saka ko lang na-appreciate ang feeling ng pagiging busy! Parang di na naman ako toh! Haha!

Exag tlga! Parang every month may major event! Sumasakit ulo ko. Haha! Hehe. Hay di ko alam kung pano ko susustentuhan lahat ng magagastos this year. Bahala na. Waahh!

Beware of text scams!

I received this sms early this morning:

"Congrats!Ur Sim# had won (P1M+n95-nokia) frm: PAGCOR.4 ELELECTRONIC RAFFLE DRAW. DTI-NCR Permit#2177s'09 2 claim Call Now! Mngr: Ace Javier ds#" - 09235088255

Wow. I wish it was true! But it's obvious that it was a text scam! So I searched the net for some other info about this scammer and found out that there were lots of victims of this bogus text message!

Unfortunately, NTC can only block the number used by the scammer and make the sim no longer usable. They cannot pursue cases about it. But with the cheap price of sims nowadays, these scammers can buy another sim and continue their bad 'business'.

Almost everybody wants an easy money right now. And some did not took time to search and verify if the said raffle is true. The common story is, when you called their number, you will be transferred to other line. Then they will say that your period to claim the prize has expired and you need to deposit in their bank account some large amount of money.

Another text message that I received was (I received twice of this last year):

"hon, meron akong importanteng sasabihin sayo.di na ko makakareply. call ka na lang or share a load 50 pesos."

Huh?? I have a 'hon'??? hahaha! If I can only send virus through my jurassic phone I will surely do that! Hahaha! These people are desperate for cp load!

So just beware of these text scammers. They will do EVERYTHING just to get some money. If you didn't joined any raffle or contests and you received this text message, don't fall for it. Usually, if the raffle or contest is legal, the company who sponsored it is the one who will call you and not vice versa. God bless!

Philippine Holidays in 2009..10 long weekends!

There will be 10 long holidays in 2009.

Last Christmas eve, Arroyo signed Proclamation 1699 that lays out the holiday schedule this year.

First on the holiday list is a three-day weekend before the Easter break.

The observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) on April 9 (Thursday) was moved to the nearest Monday which is April 6.

This will be followed by the Easter holidays from April 9 (Maundy Thursday) until April 12 (Easter Sunday).

The other regular holidays are:

  • Labor Day-May 1(Friday);
  • Independence Day- June 12 (Friday);
  • National Heroes Day- August 31 (Monday);
  • Bonifacio Day - November 30 (Monday);
  • Christmas Day- December 25 (Friday); and,
  • Rizal Day- December 30 (Wednesday).

Arroyo declared the following as Special Non-Working Days:

  • Ninoy Aquino Day - August 21 (Friday);
  • All Saints Day - November 1 (Sunday) and All Soul’s Day - November 2 (Monday);
  • Christmas Eve - December 24 (Thursday); and,
  • New Year’s Eve - December 31 (Thursday).

The president has long been implementing holiday economics to boost domestic tourism and allow Filipinos to have more time with their families.

Holiday economics entails the transfer of some holidays to a Monday or a Friday so that Filipinos may enjoy longer weekends.

Businessmen earlier complained over the recent two-week Christmas-New Year break.

However, MalacaƱang maintained consultations were made with all sectors concerned, including the business community, before issuing this year's holiday list. -- With a report from Nadia Trinidad, ABS-CBN News

NERDS 1/2 Potipot Escapade

May commitments kasi ung iba (di nga???). Since college pa yata. Pero ngayon lang natuloy..or should I say, pinilit matuloy. Haha.

Anyway, ayun..we took a bus to go to Zambales. Byaheng Sta. Cruz Zambales. Departure time for this trip are: 11am, 2pm, 6pm, and 11pm. Then the Bus fare is Php446.00. It was a 6-hour ride.

We stayed at Dawal Beach Resort.

Kung tumaob man ung bangka for sure may marunong lumangoy malapit sakin. Hehehe. Hehehe.

Hehe. Sabi ng nanay ko nabalita daw na matraffic that day ayon sa news. Pero ung byahe naman parang walang ganun.

All in all, we had a nice time dun sa place nila Kuya Iks. The more the merrier. Hehehe.

P.S.
Thanks for being super generous Kuya Iks! Hehehe!

The Happy Loooong Vacation 08

After the ever loooooooong weekend ay back to reality na. As in 8 hours ko na namang kaharap ang PC ko during weekdays! Hehe. Anyway, I had a wonderful vacation nmn kaya ok lang.

Hehehe. After Christmas ay nasa bahay lang ako. Tulog, nood, kain, basa..pero majority of my time ay nalaan sa tulog. Haha. Hehehe.

Then nung New Year's Eve naman, apat lang kami sa bahay. That's the usual case kaya ok lang. We attended a mass before we prepared the food for Medya Noche. Hahaha.

Then we had our Annual reunion sa Bulacan..hmm, sa mother's side. As usual kulitan ever silang magkakapatid. Bakit? Kasi may lakad kami papuntang Zambales kinabukasan. Hahaha!
